I saved $110 on an iPhone 7 Plus through JB HI FI. Thanks, API!

Over the last month I have used my API membership to save on Christmas gifts for the family. I've saved 10% when I purchased a Supercheap Auto instant eGift card for my husband and an EB Games Instant eGift card for my daughter. For my sister and brother in-law, this year I selected the 'Good Food' eGift card and saved another 10%. The best part is with the savings I could buy extra treats to go under the Christmas tree!

API's accommodation options, travel, sports, insurance, dining opportunities, entertainment deals, social activities, Fuel-card and extensive retail discounting, etc. provides a wonderful package for individual members and their families. Friendships made through participation in API activities and events are just a bonus.
In the 1960's the API 'package' was commonly referred to as "Australia's best kept secret." In my view, it remains so today!

This November we're expecting the arrival of our first child and we've already started to use our API membership to save on baby goods. On the API website, we found a large range of retailers offering a discount, from big name brands like Target, Myer and Big W through to online stores like Bonds and Urban Baby.

Our family had a fabulous holiday at 'Tidemark' in Shoal Bay (NSW). We have already booked another holiday there. Our family is quite large and so our food bills are close to $300 each week. We save a fortune by using the eGift cards. The 4% saving did not sound much but works out to be around $700 per year. The savings helped to pay for the holiday.

I saved a further 6% on a suit at Myer, which was already discounted by 40% in the sale. Awesome saving. I used the app on my phone to buy the eGift card while at the check out counter.

We changed to using the Woolworths eGift cards for our regular shopping. We started small, only buying the $100 eGift card to begin with. After a few trips to the supermarket we could see how easy it is and so we now buy the $500 eGift cards. We shop about 2-3 times each week and the $500 eGift cards (which cost us $480) last about 2 weeks. The saving is around $500-$600 each year, which we put towards our holidays.
